MERRY
HOLIDAYS
December 24, 2007
On behalf of all of us (both of us) at Twin
Six, we hope that your holiday season is filled
with peace, love, friends, family and food.
Best to you and yours in 2008.
DECEMBER
SHIPPING
December 5, 2007
We are currently packing up orders like a couple
of starving squirrels. But come Thursday December
20th, we are taking a vacation from twinsix.com.
We will not resume packing any online orders
until Wednesday January 2, 2008. Happy Holidays.
THANKS
November 24, 2007
Hope you all had a bountiful Thanksgiving. Thanks
to everyone who picked up a little something
during the sale. We'll get everything packed
up and shipped out this weekend. We've had a
great 2007 so far, and we have a lot to be thankful
for: people who dig our stuff, patient and supportive
families and friends, a coffee shop on the corner,
a post office that is open 24 hours a day, and
the green machine on the home page right now.
Some photos and details on her coming soon.
LIFE
AND DEATH T-SHIRTS
November 19, 2007
We recently invited two over-achieving bike-loving
design-savvy friends to design shirts for T6.
There were no rules, just "make it cool
and do your thing". We had no idea this
would be a matter of life and death.
First, Adam
Turman – full-time bike commuter,
one of the best illustrators in the land and
all-around great guy. Adam is wicked with pen
and ink. And with a mob of people paying top
dollar for his posters and paintings from all
over the world, the dude is obviously on top
of his game. We are super stoked to offer up
his very cool limited-edition ANGEL
T (available for men
and women).
She's a beauty.
Second, Jesse
LaLonde – full-time leader of the
pack, one of the best bike racers in the land
and all-around great guy. With more race wins
this season than most people have in a lifetime,
Jesse is what you might call "good".
The simple approach he takes to racing is reflected
in his limited-edition no b.s. KILL'EM
ALL T (available for guys
and gals).
So metal.
Nice work men.
OH, THE
NEWNESS OF IT ALL
November 18, 2007
Eight new t-shirts.
Four new limited-edition jackets.
Two new caps.
COMING
TO A SHOP NEAR YOU
November 9, 2007
A mighty big stack of boxes showed up early
this week. We've spent every second since then
unpacking, counting, sorting, stacking, and
re-packing them in an effort to get them out
to dealers asap. Shipments should be landing
soon, and on shelves or online in the next week
or so. Check for dealers in your area here.

NEW SPEEDY
JACKETS
November 1, 2007
The morning ride in to the shop is getting a
bit chilled these days. Time to break out the
long sleeves. Whether you're rolling to work
or working the pit, consider adding one
of these newbies to your wardrobe this fall.
TEAM JACKETS COMING
SOON
PRODUCTION
October 12, 2007
All of the new 2008 jerseys are in production.

and women's Argyle will be available at dealers
in November. Everything else will be out in
the spring of 2008. Where is your favorite
shop?
THE iPHONE
IS GOING DOWN
October 8, 2007
Apparently someone out there thinks very highly
of the new 2008 Mistress
jersey. So much so that her or she nominated
it for the People's Design Award, in the Cooper-Hewitt
National Design Awards Competition. Exercise
your right, and vote.

Post Show
September 29, 2007
Long week. Not sure it could have gone any better
though. Pre show jitters were soon forgotten
as the doors to the chilly convention center
opened and people flooded in. Game faces were
on, and we didn't stop talking for three days.
Shook a lot of hands, gave out a lot of high
fives, even a couple hugs. Thanks to all the
dealers who stopped by: to look, to buy, or
just to say hi. Very nice to put faces with
names. Nice to meet so many cool industry peeps
too. We feel more and more welcome every year.
As for our competition, the fist
pump was unexpected. We do understand however
that immitation is the sincerest form of plagiarism.
Despite the poor sportsmanship of a few, it
was a killer show. In the 30 minute breaks we
each took on the final day, it was cool to walk
around and get a sneak peak at what will be
on the streets and trails in the year ahead.
Time to start saving our milk money.
INTERBIKE:
Pre Show
September 25, 2007
Great to be back in Vegas, sort of. While setting
foot in this town has come to mean that we are
ready to debut the next round of goodness from
T6, it's also become synonomous for a long week
of work. The change of scenery is nice, but
the chance of pace isn't noticeable. Either
way, we're stoked to be here and ready to show
of the next generation of T6.
LIVE
September 19, 2007
Feels like the last few days have involved giving
birth to a lot of kids, taking their photos,
and proudly posting them on the family blog.
Take a peek in the GEAR
section.
NEW KIDS
ON THE BLOCK
September 15, 2007
Few things motivate like the final hour. With
a calendar year that seems to revolve around
three
days in the desert, we are truly in our
element with one week to go, and 1,000 things
to do. The newbies are in production, and last
minute pimping and prodding will happen before
their big debut. New
t-shirts and "stuff" officially
hit the block on 10/1, so you'll have a little
more than a week to plan out who is getting
what. Only 15 weeks until the holidays.
INK
August 23, 2007
Does that jersey look famliar? Yep, that's the
pink
Fat Cyclist jersey on the cover of the October
2007 issue of Bicycling Magazine. Looking sassy.
We were told there might be some "coverage"
of the jersey in an upcoming issue. But we didn't
know that coverage was slang for "on
the cover". After tearing this open today
and seeing the gloriously well photo directed
front cover, we stood outside the shop and gave
free high fives for about 30 minutes. Check
out the recently updated INK
section to see more.
NO NEWS
IS GOOD NEWS
August 19, 2007
More than two weeks without any news or updates
from us might have you worried. Fear not. While
it's not exactly true that we've said
goodbye to the outside world and locked ourselves
in the shop until we finish the 2008 lineup,
it kind of feels like it sometimes. Tonight,
after a rain-drenched weekend (the kind your
dream of when you have 80 hours of work to do
in two days), and only breaking for a few hours
to take part in the this,
we're feeling pretty darn good about where things
are headed with the next evolution of T6 goods.
We'll be leaking a few things here before the
big
show at the end of September. But it's all
(four) hands on deck between now and then. Bigger
booth this year, bigger product lineup, and
a bigger committment to doing it up right.
24 /
9 RECAP
July 30, 2007
It was a wicked weekend in the woods at 24
Hours of 9 Mile for a load of Team Twin
Six riders. Our 4-man team muscled out a 2nd
place finish in the Men's +30 National Champ
category, Scott Stanke and Dave Larson rolled
in with a 3rd place finish in the 24 Hour Male
Duo race, Namrita O'Dea placed 8th in the Women's
24 Hour category, Brent and Ryan did a respectable
job of coming in 10th in the 12 Hour Duo Open,
and these guys (1,
2,
3,
4)
did a bang-up job of defending their 24 Hour
Men's 4-man team National Championship. Just
another day on the dirt. Congrats to all.
24 /
9
July 25, 2007
Team Twin Six will not be back to defend it's
Sport Category four man team title this year.
Instead, all four riders from last year will
be in the
woods of 9 Mile near Wausau, WI this week
gunning for the Men's 30+ Four Man Team National
Championship. Way to step up your game,
lads. In other, less important news, Brent
and Ryan will attempt to survive for 12 hours
in the Duo Open Category. Yee haw. If you're
going to the race, stop by our compound, hang
out for while, and re-energize with some ice
cold Nutrisoda.
You'll function better, and your skin will feel
softer.

PROFESSIONAL
BIKE RACING IN MINNESOTA, SERIOUSLY
June 20-24, 2007
We're packing up shop and heading down to the
Nature Valley Grand Prix this week. If you're
not familiar, NVGP is a five day stage road
race – comprised of a criterium in
downtown
Saint Paul (Wednesday), a 60 mile road stage
in and around Cannon Falls (Thursday), another
crit in downtown Minneapolis (Friday), 86 miles
in and around Mankato (Saturday) and a final
crit in downtown Stillwater (Sunday). If you've
never seen professional racing before, it's
definitely worth the price of admission (free).
Stop by the Twin Six tent for some sweet gear
deals, and see if you can spot all of the leaders
jerseys in the race (we designed them). For
more info: NVGP
NOTE
FOR ALL FAT CYCLIST PURCHASES
June 10, 2007
The response to the Fat
Cyclist gear has been overwhelming. Despite
still not having much of these items in stock,
please know that we are doing our absolute best
to manage your orders, answer your emails, tend
to your requests and changes, and get everything
ready to be shipped out. Domestic orders will
ship as the items become available, and possibly
in separate shipments (at no extra shipping
cost to you), and orders placed outside the
US will ship when we have all the items in stock.
We are working very hard to ensure a timely
delivery of everything. If you have questions,
email
Elden. Thanks for your support, and patience.
UPDATED
June 1, 2007
We've been putting a lot of hours into a lot
of projects that are all coming to a close at
roughly the same time. New gear, side projects,
site updates and a new location. First, check
out the expanded Team
section, now complete with bios of 2007
riders, a race calendar, team tips, some photos
and other time-wasting but super-useable information.
Second, a lot of new gear is up, including three
more jerseys, a couple t-shirts, some socks
and... a handmade steel 29'er. Yes, the WaltWorks
CustomStock's
are done. We could not be more stoked about
how everything came together. Third, we've been
working with the Fat
Cyclist to collaborate on some gear. Very
proud to launch a
tasty little bundle of goods for him, and
do some good for a worthy cause. And finally
(sound the horns!), we are extremely proud to
announce that we're officially moving out of
our basements, and into an actual brick and
mortar building... where we can work and pack
and drink and hang out and meet up for rides
and have fun... and work and pack and work and
pack. More info on this later. For now, peruse
the updated site. Let
us know what needs fixin.

it's way into the 2007 Outside Magazine Buyer's
Guide. In 2006, it was The Argyle jersey. This
year, The Motor and The Betty get recommendations
for Gear of the Year. See

NEW
T6 ARTCRANK POSTERS
April 9, 2007
Doesn't get much better than hanging
out in a bike shop all night with 500 other
people, sipping a cold beer and checking out
some well-designed bike posters. If you missed
the show, or didn't pick up one of the T6 posters
there, you can now get them here. Check out
the new Til
Death poster and Commuter
poster. We've also got some very special
edition prints that will make a fine addition

WHAT
DAY IS IT?
March 26, 2007
Just a quick post to say that we have
been absolutely slammed here at T6WHQ. The new
stuff is in, and we're doing our best to get
it out a.s.a. flipping p. If we're a couple
days late, our apologies. If we don't get back
to you via email right away, be patient. If
you have the power to change the hours in a
day to something like 50, we'd really appreciate
it.
TWIN
SIX & LITESPEED
February 17,
2007
We've been asked by a lot of people to
collaborate on t-shirt designs. Most notably,
there was my cousin Chris who needed help with
a t-shirt for our family reunion. Then there
was that dude from Saskatchewan who wanted us
to print his kids' face on the back of the Ride
T. There was also Brent's next door neighbor
who suggested that we do a t-shirt design involving
his award-wining tomato plant.
Truly, all great opportunities
to move our brand forward.
So when Litespeed
came along and suggested that we do a couple
t-shirt designs for them, we knew we had an
opportunity to come up with something special.
Don't get us wrong, t-shirts for family reunions
and tomato plants are cool. But collaborating
on designs with a bike company that is leading
the charge in envelope-pushing cycling technology
is more our style. See the shirts here
and here.
ALL GOOD
THINGS MUST COME TO AN END
February 12,
2007
Thanks for participating in our little
experiment (aka: the $15 Sale). We've certainly
got some packing and shipping to do. Everything
will go out as soon asap. Enjoy.
SALE
SALE SALE
February 5,
2007
On a day where the high temp here in
Minneapolis MIGHT reach -5 degrees below zero,
all we can think about is hocking t-shirts.
So, we thought we'd have a sale. Starting at
12:00am CST on Thursday, February 8th through
the end of Sunday, February 11th, all* men's
and women's
t-shirts will be marked down to $15. In addition
to that, all T6
Junior shirts and onesies will also be marked
down to $15. We've even lowered our shipping
prices. Time to stock up and get while the gettin's
good.
*t-shirt sale does not
include DREAM T, WALTWORKS T, or RIDERS UNITE
T.
ADIOS
2006. HOLA 2007.
January 21,
2007
2006 was a stellar year for so many reasons.
We exceeded sales goals, we got some nice ink,
we saw our stuff on t.v.,
we signed on with a bunch of top-notch dealers,
and we got the chance to meet a lot of you at
races, events, shows, or just through email.
2007 is shaping up to be another solid year.
In addition to continuing to evolve our jersey
graphics, we made a few adjustments to hone
the fit of the men’s
jerseys. We also worked with a rogue women’s
fit specialist to perfect the form and function
of our brand new women’s
jerseys. And of course there is our much
expanded line of cycling-inspired t-shirts for
men
and women,
and those who otherwise prefer not to be made
into walking billboards. There are big plans
to evolve our products this year, and expand
the lineup in 2007 and 2008. We will continue
to look to partner with companies like Crumpler
and WaltWorks
on collaborative projects that bring each parties
strengths to the table. The to-do list is getting
long. We'll be adding new product to the site
in the next couple weeks. Time to wrap this
up and get back to work. It's going to be a
great year. Best to you in 2007.
