My first bike was: My first memory of a bike is my 3 wheeler that I rode down the stairs of my parents house. Wonder where the love of mountain biking came from....guess thats my answer. My first real bike would be a white bike with black speckles learned to ride it at the local high school track.

Best Race Result: 11:56 at the 2011 Shenandoah Mountain 100 in Harrisonburg, Va. If you haven't done that race gets to doing it!

Current Sponsors: Twin Six, Ergon USA, Bike Line, Sock Guy, That Butt Stuff

My current bike(s): 2009 Niner Air9 Scandium mix of XO and XTR, King/Arch wheels....good all day ride build. 2006 Specialized Allez training tool nothing fancy. 2003 Redline Conquest beater Commuter/Cyclocross bike 1x9

When I'm not riding I'm: Reading about riding.....or working for Fairfax County

This year, I want to: Finish the Shenandoah Mountain 100 under 11:30 this year

If you're ever in my area, check out: Fountain Head great local urban trail system

The cycling world needs more: Companies like Twin Six! And IPA's

Preferred type of racing: Endurance....12 hours, 100 milers, 6 hours all day road rides.

If I could ride anywhere: I'd would have to say Colorado I have never been but always have wanted to go

You should do this everyday: Exercise!

Did you know: I am lactose intolerant and damn I miss butter!

Tip #1

Chammois cream is your best friend for all day rides.

Tip #2

There is no such thing as TO much chammois butter!

Tip #3

Get your road bike fitted. It'll save you knees in the long run. Pay a little now or a lot later!
