FAVE RIDING STYLE:
Road (more specifically TT), with fixed being a quick second.

FAVE LOCAL BIKE SHOP:
It’s a toss up between Freewheel and Gear West.

MY FIRST BIKE WAS : A blue Schwinn road bike, circa 1982. I can’t remember the model…but it was glorious.

RIDING OFFERS ME: A way to clear my head, after a long day of mindless chatter.

It’s funny, I realized it most last summer. I was on my fixie commuting home from work, rolling by tons of little summer dresses and trendy outfits getting ready to hit the town for the night. I was heading home to get laced up in lycra.

I’m zipping by all the hot night spots on my bike while 99% of people are getting ready to forget the rest of the night. It feels good to have that burn in your legs and just want more. Differences – and I wouldn't give it up for the world.

I WISH I NEVER SOLD MY : Tony Hawk / Powell Peralta skateboard…it even ran the old Slime Ball Speed wheels!

THE CYCLING WORLD NEEDS MORE: Drama…I’m talking more politics, more doping scandals, you know, all the stuff that makes a sport truly “interesting”. Step it up guys, I mean come on!

I AM INSPIRED BY: People who don’t quit…plain and simple.

ONE DAY, WHEN I WAS RIDING : With a friend, a guy came shooting up between us screaming “UP THE MIDDLE!!!”…it was so random.

IN THE OFF-SEASON, I DO A LOT OF: Whatever the wife tells me to do. Everything that gets put-off during the season gets scheduled for the off-season. We all know that’s the way it goes.

I AM CURRENTLY LUSTING: A Swobo Sanchez….clean and tight.

TRUST ME WHEN I SAY: Long rides require chamois cream…don’t play around, this is serious.

SPECIAL TALENTS: Mad skills with any brass instrument. You name it, I’ll play it…and well!
