BEST RACE RESULT: Results are overrated but if I have to pick one it'd be Mount Snow, 2006. One of the hardest courses in the country, really physical riding. After three hours of climbing/getting the poop beaten outta me I got the privilege of sprinting to the line for position. Its a good feeling to one up someone after a super hard race and take it to the house.

FAVE RIDING STYLE: Rooty rocky singletrack and Climbing.

THE BEST RIDE: Riding in the Catskills in upstate NY...if you can ride well there, you can ride well anywhere. Awesome single track with no houses, cars or noise in
sight and endless rocky single track.

CYCLING TIPS: Go fast so they don't catch you. Go tubeless, WAY better traction enabling you to go faster.

I WISH I NEVER SOLD MY road bike to pay for NORBA National trips. I raced well and saw some cool country though, so it all worked out.

I AM INSPIRED BY Other people's awesome adventures. Kick ass pictures, Belgium knee warmers, Setting up a young kid on a bicycle and seeing their excitement at the possibilities.

I THANK MY LUCKY STARS FOR my Boo. She once got a 3rd degree sunburn on her ta ta's standing in the feed zone waiting to give me a nice cold bottle in the middle of the summer. She was wearing a tank top and didn't want to miss my feed. She's a keeper.
