It's no secret, at least I don't think it is, that attitude can make all the difference. I think the secret is attitude control. Have you ever seen those photos of guys laying on a bed of nails but the "bed" is made of only five nails? Those guys don't jump right onto that bed. Nope. They start with a bed of tightly packed nails, progressively removing nails and conditioning their body to withstand the added pressure. In a similar fashion, you must condition your metal-tude. Ride everything, ride anytime. Quit your whining. Oh, poor baby, it's raining and 35 degrees. HTFU and start mashing those pedals. I must warn you though. This is not to be taken lightly. Don't even attempt if you're not ready for a commitment. All the wishing in the world will get you nowhere. This one requires a yearning from deep within.
